Hello and welcome to new, Mari's House and Garden blog!

This first entry I will do regarding to job which we're started in Islip - OX5. Job involves refurbishing "The Old Rectory", period property which is II Grade Listed Building.

Rectory, now house was Built in 1689-90 for Dr. Robert South, Rector, restored 1807 for Dean

Vincent, enlarged middle XIX century. Coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings;

Stonesfield-slate roof with ashlar gable stacks. Double-pile plan. 2 storeys

plus attic.
